Attorney (Atty.) Eileen C. Seaman has been admitted to the Connecticut

Bar.
She
is an active member in professional organizations. Atty. Seaman is a
member of the American Bar Association, and is an appointed member of its
Tax Section Real Estate Committee. Atty. Seaman is a member of the
Connecticut Bar Association and chairs it’s Liaison with Accountants
Committee and she is an appointed member of the Tax Section Executive
Committee. In addition she chairs The Solo and Small Firm Committee of
The Regional Bar and is a member of the Bar Association of Greenwich.
Ms.
Seaman is an Enrolled Agent with the United States Treasury Department
which allows her to represent clients as an Enrolled Agent before the
Internal Revenue Service in all 50 States. “Enrolled Agent” is a status
granted by the U.S. Treasury Department and is a credential separate from
that of attorney.
Prior
to opening her law office in Greenwich, she worked for the Internal
Revenue Service in various positions including management and quality
review staff, and for the State of California Franchise Tax Board.
Moreover, Ms. Seaman was a Tax Law Editor for the Research Institute of
America (RIA).
Ms.
Seaman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from
the Stern School of Business of New York University. Her Juris Doctor
degree is from Widener University School of Law: where her course of
study included 22 credits in the law of taxation.
She has been a radio
show guest speaker on numerous occasions, first as a representative of the
Internal Revenue Service and later on behalf of her own law office.
Several newspaper articles have focused on Attorney Seaman and she has
been quoted in others. She also volunteers her time to teach at the
University of Connecticut “Income Tax School for Practitioners”.
